WEL-CO is an Afghan women-led, non-political, and nongovernmental organization focused on humanitarian aids, emergency response, women’s and girls’ empowerment, gender equality, women economic empowerment, recreational activities, livelihood, Agricultural initiatives, food security, social cohesion, health and nutrition, WASH, climate change, child protection, education, Small Skills Trainings, and peace building program.
WEL-CO aims to be a national force and partner in a nationwide movement for women’s and girls’ empowerment, ending poverty, reducing mortality, and providing emergency relief to marginalized communities and populations affected by natural disasters, or economic downturns, thereby helping them regain their dignity.
WEL-CO seeks a country of hope, tolerance, and social justice where poverty has been overcome and everyone lives in dignity, peace, and security.

WEL-CO has been registered with Ministry of Economy of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on 8th March 2021 in Kabul Afghanistan under license number (5136).
